Investor – also known in Curacao as Investeerder
Conditions
For the temporary residence permit with the purpose of “wealthy investor”, the foreigner must have sufficient means of subsistence permanently and independently to be able to meet the obligations arising from the investment, whereby the foreigner must demonstrate by means of official documents to have made or intends to make a business investment with a value of at least NAf. 500,000.00. The validity of the permit depends on the value of the investment.
These are as follows:
For a business investment from NAf. 500,000.00, the residence permit is issued for a period of 3 years.
For a business investment starting from NAf. 750,000.00, the residence permit is issued for a period of 5 years.
For a business investment starting from NAf. 1,500,000.00, the residence permit is issued for an indefinite period.
Costs
Before submitting the application, one is required to pay dues and fees. The amount to be paid depends on the investment.
- For a business investment from NAf. 500,000.00 one pays NAf. 1,865.00.
- For a business investment from NAf. 750.000.00 one pays NAf. 3,095.00.
- For a business investment from NAf. 1,500,000.00 one pays NAf. 6,170.00.
