Kortverblijf – Overwinteraars/kapitaalkrachtige investeerder
You are eligible for this purpose of stay for up to 6 months if you:
- own at least Nafl. 36,000.00 in monetary assets; or
- own a house or apartment in Curaçao (real estate); or
- own a pleasure craft/yacht moored in Curaçao, whose vessel, measured on the waterline, has a length of at least 10 meters (registered property).
The requirements needed to submit the request are:
- Proof of payment of Fees & Dues
- Clear copy of the photo page of the applicant’s passport. If the passport holder’s signature is on another page in the passport, also a copy of this page (passport valid for at least 6 months when submitted);
Proof solvency to be demonstrated by:
- proof of disposal of at least NAfl. 36.000,00) or
- proof of ownership of house or apartment in Curaçao (proof of Curaçao Land Registry) or
- proof of ownership of pleasure craft (measured at least 10m on the waterline) or
- Bank guarantee from a local bank (not older than 3 months) of at least NAfl. 650.000,-;
If using an authorized representative (third party):
- An original authorization letter signed by applicant (not older than 6 months) and a copy of the authorized person’s valid identification.
Costs
Before an application can be submitted, fees and dues must be paid.
An amount of naf. 535,= must be paid.
Payment should be made at Maduro & Curiel’s Bank. The necessary information to make payment can be found on the payment order.
